World Class Marina Operations Training

 

Welcome to the new course being offered by Safety Corp - MAR30315 Certificate III in Marina Operations. This is your opportunity to stand out from the crowd. This course offers you the opportunity to enter and work in the amazing and full of opportunity marina and boating industries.

Available as a Traineeship for eligible students where you earn while you learn.

Driven and launched by industry this traineeship is delivered by Safety Corp in partnership with the Marina Industries Association, supported and subsidised by the NSW and QLD Government training programs.

 

Course Outcomes

A Nationally Recognised MAR30315 Certificate III in Marina Operations.

Currently available in NSW and QLD.

Core recognisable skills in;

  • Customer Service

  • Workplace and Environmental Health and Safety

  • Practical Task Management in areas such as;

    • Berthing, Mooring, Storage

    • Refuelling

    • Equipment Operation

    • Boatyard Operations

Who Should Enrol?

This course is ideal for people who wish to work or are currently working in the marina industry performing a range of tasks such as berthing, mooring and storage of vessels and a range of boatyard tasks connected to sailing, cruising and general boating.

 

Generally, structured as part of a traineeship, the course provides a great insight in to the boating and marine industry, to allow trainees to view all aspects of the industry.

 

It is an exceptional entry level qualification that may help students to decide which element of the marine industry they wish to enter such as mechanic, detailing, boat builder and similar marine roles and ultimately trades.

 

Existing workers on marinas may also wish to recognise their skills using this qualification. Whilst this does not fall under the traineeship provisions, this may be achieved as a fee for service course under both training and Recognition of Prior Learning assessments.

Additionally you are provided with training assistance measures and industry support through the Safety Corp Traineeship system as well as the industry partnership offered between Marina Industries Association and Safety Corp.
