Career Growth Opportunities

Safety Corp works directly with many of Australias largest NDIS providers to deliver highly customised training that meets specific needs of those clients. In most cases training focuses on;

  • Customer centredness

  • Individual support

  • Customer changes under the NDIS

  • Person Centred care

Safety Corp offers training from skill sets under the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support through to Traineeship and subsidised Certificate III's where traineeships are not applicable. Most training is government subsidised under NSW Government Smart and Skilled programs.

The key difference of Safety Corp in this sector is that we genuinely understand the disability sector with a team that has decades of direct work experience in the sector. Safety Corp also runs proprietary research that provides insight into skills and attitudes of support workers pre and post training to determine specific training requirements as well as measuring the effectiveness of training.

One in five Australians lives with a disability. This includes those living with mental health conditions. In New South Wales there are 750,000 people who suffer from a disability. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will impact substantially on job roles and create approximately 25,000 jobs in the NSW disability service sector.

Testimonials

Although I have a family member with a disability and so I had some knowledge of the industry, attending the course as a new support worker gave me a better understanding of the laws and regulations. It also gave me a lot of understanding about the terminology used for many things including medications. It gave me a lot of confidence and assurance about my experience.”

“Because I have no experience in the industry, it (the skill set program) gave me a lot of good ideas and practices that I can use in my job. I am now more confident when issues come up.”
